If you have children or pets in your home, you should clean it at least every 6 months and if you have kids and pets, you better make it every three months.

The above numbers are just a general guideline. They are based on average environmental and living conditions. Your cleaning interval will vary. You must remember that carpet is designed to hide soil and can hold its own weight in dirt.
